CATS Academy Boston: Second Semester Notes- 2022

Dear Students, Parents, and Friends of CATS Academy,

Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful and restful holiday season. As you know the first day of the second semester is Tuesday, January 11, and I wanted to update you on our plans for the first two weeks of the semester.

• All domestic students must return with a COVID negative test within the last 72 hours
• All international students will quarantine for 72 hours and then be tested
• Students who are COVID negative after quarantining and testing may go to meals, participate in extracurricular activities, and freely walk the campus
• Masks are always required indoors
• January 8 & 9
  • Induction for new students in Adams Hall, 9:00 am-3:00 pm
  • Any new student who comes after 3:00 pm should call the Residential Life phone, 617-610-5635
  • Return of first semester students
• January 10-14
  • Testing for students who have been on campus or in the United States for at least 72 hours
• January 11
  • First Day of classes of the second semester
  • 9:00 am all-school virtual meeting
• January 11-14
• All classes will be taught virtually
  • Teachers will contact students and send links to classroom and classwork
• January 17
  • First day of live classes
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day-special schedule with guest speakers and activities

Of course, we are in the midst of a New England snowstorm so flights may be delayed or cancelled. Please contact the Residential Life phone if you have a delay or a problem.
