Introducing TEDx CATS Academy Boston – Inspiring talks from inspiring students
Clubs and organizations
15 March 2019
This month we saw an array of inspirational ideas, concepts and opinions as students took the stage in our first ever TEDx CATS Academy Boston event.
With such a diverse student body, our students bring a variety of cultures and experiences which they are now able to share across the global platform, TED.
TED is a non-profit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks that are 18 minutes or less (www.ted.com). All of our student talks will be available to watch on the official TED YouTube channel. If you would like to keep up to date on when these will be posted then follow our official TEDx CATS Academy Boston Instagram @tedxcatsacademyboston.
Julie from Vietnam, the founder of TEDx CATS Academy, explains why she decided to introduce this event to CATS Academy Boston:
“The reason why I wanted to bring TED talks to CATS is because I think that it is a good place for everybody to come together to share ideas, talents and passions.”
Watch our interview with Julie to find out more about her experience at CATS Academy Boston:
At CATS Academy Boston we offer students the opportunity to set up school events and clubs that they feel would benefit the community. We feel it’s important to allow students to explore their interests and passions and do our absolute best to encourage this in any way that we can.
