Making the most out of weekends in Boston
Trips and activities
4 May 2018
At the weekends, our students like to explore, take a break and make the most out of life in New England.
At CATS Boston we offer a wide range of activities, from cultural events and outdoor adventures to shopping and eating out. Giving our students enjoyable and memorable experiences during their time at high school is as important to us as inspiring them in the classroom.
Recent excursions have included a theatre trip to see a performance by the Blue Man Group – a contemporary show, integrating design and technology with music and comedy. They also experienced a more traditional show, attending the Boston Ballet's performance of Romeo and Juliet. As well as these cultural activities, students have been able to let off steam at Dave and Busters gaming arcade and last week they had a top time at the Big Apple Circus!

Excursions planned for next month include going to the Gillette Stadium to watch America's top professional soccer league (MLS Major League Soccer) in a game between New England Revolution and Sporting Kansas City. Following that will be an interactive puzzle game called – Escape the Room. The participants will be taken to a downtown Boston location and groups of 10 will be involved in an immersive puzzle experience. During one of the games the group will be locked in the famous Clock Tower and given a set of clues in order to unlock the room. For the next excursion, students will be taken on a shopping trip out to Canobie Lake Park to stock up on summer items!
Weekend excursions are part of the CATS Academy experience – you can never be bored!
