CATS Academy Boston has partnered with Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts – a dedicated arts school in one of the UK’s great university cities – to create a Visual and Performing Arts Enrichment Program.

Kim Barry, CATS Academy Arts Department Chair, who leads the program says:

“We are excited to offer this Enrichment Program to our exceptional young people and to work in collaboration with Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts. The certificate program is for our creative students interested in specializing in the arts. The program, delivered by a high calibre team of experienced creative professionals from artists, musicians and theatre directors, this year also welcomes Sam Donovan to the faculty. Sam, formerly runner up in the first season of Project Runway, a US TV show looking for upcoming fashion designers, is responsible for teaching the Fashion electives at CATS Academy. Sam has freelanced for Macy’s and the Hamburg-based sustainable denim line Bridge & Tunnel, and also designs for private clients. He’s excited to work with the burgeoning designers at CATS Academy, and can’t wait to see what they can do!

Students enrol on the two-year program on arrival at the school in either September or January. This program supplements the core high school curriculum.
