Extracurricular Opportunities at CATS Academy Boston

Top universities in the United States look for well-rounded individuals with a passion for their subject, varied social interests, and who will contribute to the community beyond the classroom.

Our Global Citizen Pathways provide structured clubs, opportunities, and activities for students to explore their interests, develop practical and leadership skills, contribute to the wider community, and build meaningful experiences that strengthen their university profiles and support their personal growth, preparing them to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Students can select one primary pathway while participating in opportunities across the other areas. This would help them develop a focused, authentic story of growth and enables them to cultivate their passions while demonstrating the depth of their interests, leadership, and commitment to top colleges and universities.

The five primary pathways are:

Academic Exploration And Future Readiness Clubs

Our Academic Exploration and Future Readiness pathway includes clubs that will challenge and develop each student’s academic abilities. This will give them the opportunity to work with students from other schools in national competitions, taking part in the Model United Nations or entering national competitions as part of our  Math Club.

Business, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Clubs

Our Business, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation clubs provide ambitious students with the opportunity to explore the dynamic world of business, finance, economics and start-up culture beyond the classroom.

These clubs are an excellent choice for students who aspire to study these fields at university, helping them build valuable experience and strengthen their academic and career aspirations.

Arts, Media and Creative Expression Clubs

If you are more interested in art or music, the creative clubs at CATS Academy Boston will feed your creativity. You can be part of a musical, produce, direct and star in your own production, design and make your own clothes, write articles for the school newspaper, or be part of the Yearbook Club.

Athletics, Wellness and Team Leadership Clubs

Athletics at CATS Academy Boston will help keep students active and healthy, while enhancing their leadership and team building skills.

CATS Academy Boston has its own onsite gymnasium and fitness centre, which serve as the main facilities for all indoor athletics. It also has a brand-new basketball court and a multipurpose field on campus.

As associate members of the NEPSAC  (New England Private School Athletic Commission), students can compete against other local schools in a range of different sports.

If you are interested in joining one of the competitive teams at CATS Academy Boston try-outs are available throughout the year.

Community Service, Social Impact, and Student Leadership Clubs

At CATS Academy Boston, you will have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of leadership, community service, and social impact initiatives. By taking on a student leadership role or contributing to projects that make a positive difference in the local community, you will develop valuable skills such as effective communication, public speaking, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving. These experiences will help you build confidence, strengthen your sense of responsibility, and develop the leadership qualities needed to create meaningful change both on campus and beyond.

PLEASE NOTE: Extracurricular clubs are subject to change and will be offered depending on student interest.
