The CATS Academy Scholarship of Excellence is aimed at exceptional students of any nationality who successfully apply and attend the following Universities. 

If you start the CATS Academy Boston program in September or January, this scholarship is available for:

  • Princeton University
  • Harvard University
  • Yale University
  • University of Pennsylvania
  • Dartmouth College
  • Brown University
  • Cornell University
  • Columbia University
  • Stanford University
  • Massachusetts Institute of Technology

 

CATS Academy Scholarship

Students joining or continuing their studies with us in September and January to study our two-year high school diploma will be eligible for our scholarship. Winners of the scholarships will have their course and accommodation fees reimbursed upon proof of acceptance and attendance of the first semester at the Universities stated above. Students will also be asked to engage in marketing activities and events and provide a testimonial for promotional use. Students can notify their Director of Enrollment and External Affairs of their eligibility.

How we support our students

In today’s highly competitive environment, top universities are seeking academically successful candidates who stand out from the rest and can effectively demonstrate the passion for their subject. We offer College Counselling to help you to be your best in your university application The College Counseling Department has a wealth of experience in managing the college application process for international and for US students. We will help you with the process of choosing colleges, completing applications, and meeting deadlines. It is the counselors’ priority to help you present the best version of yourself to all universities and colleges.

 

Your college counseling support includes: Grade 9 Grade 10 Grade 11 Grade 12
An introduction to the college admissions process    
Advice on what you can do to prepare    
Help with building a college essay that will showcase your strengths    
Provide you with assistance registering for required standardized tests    
Assistance with obtaining transcripts from previous schools, if needed    
Advice on financial aid options  
Arranging meetings for you with representatives from colleges and universities    
Providing trips to local colleges and universities    
Guidance on how to ask for school and teacher recommendations    
Support with ‘Common App’ submissions      
Finalizing your college lists      
Collecting and sending all appropriate documentation, including transcripts, letters of recommendation, profiles needed for application to your chosen colleges      

 

Scholars Program

By invitation only, the Scholars Program provides extra educational opportunities for high achieving students to prepare for college life. Previous trips include seeing a professor from Stanford speak at MIT on the future of clean energy, and the head of the Government department at Harvard speak on Russian-American relations. As a CATS scholar, you will regularly visit universities and colleges to gain an understanding of life after high school. You also make regular cultural trips such as trips to museums, places of historical interest, orchestra recitals, sports games and more. Scholars are selected based on academic excellence and a passion for learning, students may apply after one semester at CATS Academy Boston.
