CATS ACADEMY BOSTON STUDENTS ACCEPTED TO MIT

CATS Academy Boston would like to congratulate Waris T. and Ashly B., on their acceptance and plans to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) this fall.

“We are honored to have two of our students, Waris T. and Ashly B, accepted to MIT for the 2022-23 school year.  Their matriculation is a testament to their hard work and dedication and to the amazing staff members at CATS Academy Boston who helped both students realize their dream.  We look forward to their future contributions to the world”  Ben Bonaventura, Interim Head of School.

Currently, MIT’s acceptance rate is 4.1%, meaning that they only accept around 4 applicants for every 100 people that apply. In order to receive an offer from the University, students will need excellent grades, test scores, essays, and letters of recommendation to be considered. These two acceptances are testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, Ashly and Warris.

“CATS Academy gave me two choices, succeed, or succeed. I am very grateful for the opportunity that they have given me and would have never had the ability to attend MIT without this experience. The flexibility of CATS courses allowed me to take courses that I am truly passionate about.” Ashly B.

“CATS Academy is a cultural playground with more complexity than what most people will ever have a chance to navigate anywhere else. There is a freedom to choose electives and self-study courses beyond the high school level. The extracurricular activities are where my friends and I discover the nuanced parts of who we want to become in the future. CATS grows and morphs with the changing world and its shifting students. The challenges and aspirations in this school always come in one size, too big, and that’s a good thing. CATS equips students with lessons that will be useful to them far into the future, while also helping get these students into prestigious universities.” -Warris T.
